This artwork is a collaboration with my best friend Karine. She is an appreciator of my images, and recently she told me about a vision she had before falling asleep. She had imagined a ghostly woman as the prow of an ancient and decayed boat and asked me if I could do a manipulation using this concept.
I have agreed and finally came up with this. The result is a bit different from her original vision since working with stock photos is somehow restricting, but I think I am quite close to her idea.
I also had in mind the image of Saori Kido turned into the prow of Odin's ship in an old Saint Seiya movie. (for the ones who know ^^)
Everything is not perfect in this manip but I like the way it came out.
