Description
La vouivre, half-woman, half-snake (or dragon) has been part of french folklore for centuries, and of course, I had to represent one ^^ The word itself Vouivre comes from latin ‘vipera’ meaning snake, or serpent. She is known for wearing a magnificent ruby stone on her forehead and protecting it fiercely from men’s greed.
Legend say that she killed anyone who tried to steal it, so would you dare ?
Since I started doing photomanipulation I’d longed for illustrating one, but it was a bit complex. However I think I did the legend justice J
